• Pearce Micro Review

The Pearce Micro Review is an innovative new bar review program that combines substantive law with issue spotting and organization. For more details, see the frequently asked questions. As the name implies, this course doesn’t pretend to review all of the law, but it does go over all of the most important issues from the MBE subjects, with a separate seminar on Remedies.

I’m making available to the public all of the substantive video from this program, without charge. You’re welcome to study it with my compliments, and I’m interested in any feedback you may have to offer, especially if it is lavish praise. The videos are in Real Media format, and they will work on a dial-up or broadband connection.

More elaborate versions of each seminar in this program are available for purchase and immediate download.

    Here’s the curriculum:

    Torts
    Criminal Law and Procedure
    Constitutional Law
    Real Property
    Contracts
    Evidence
    Remedies

As you’ll see, each seminar begins with a summary of the material and a discussion of which issues are most heavily tested on the bar examination. I try to suggest how best to think about each subject as we go into reviewing the law. We move through the material quickly in a series of short videos, roughly following the outlines from the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
